Foundation of WeAreTELL

WeAreTELL was born from lived experience shaped by pollution, environmental neglect, and the quiet resilience of communities fighting for dignity in the face of the climate crisis. Our founder grew up witnessing how polluted air, unsafe water, and disappearing green spaces do not just damage the environment. They shape the dreams, health, and opportunities of the people who depend on it. Climate change was never a distant headline. It was a daily reality.

But even within that reality, there was strength. There were parents waking early to search for clean water. Young people organizing to clean their neighborhoods with limited resources. Communities refusing to accept that this was all they deserved. This resilience revealed a powerful truth: the world cannot understand the depth of the climate crisis unless the voices living through it are heard.

That truth became the foundation of WeAreTELL.

"A story told with honesty can shift a heart, move a nation, and reshape the future."

Blair Reznick, Executive Director, WeAreTELL

the BIG Mission...

WeAreTELL was created to bridge the divide between climate data and human experience, to make visible the stories that are often overlooked, unheard, or untold. We exist to center frontline voices in global climate conversations because behind every statistic is a life, a family, a community, and a truth that deserves to be witnessed.

Our mission is to amplify these stories, connect them with science and policy, and craft narratives that move people from awareness to action. Through powerful storytelling, we work with communities, creatives, researchers, and partners worldwide to transform lived experiences into global understanding and meaningful change.

WeAreTELL is more than a platform. It is a movement born from real experiences, collective struggle, and the belief that change begins with listening. It is a promise that those on the frontlines of the climate crisis will not be spoken for. They will speak for themselves.

This is why we tell these stories.
This is why we exist.
And this is why we will keep going until the world chooses to act.
