UNEA-7: Global Decisions, Local Impact for a Resilient Planet
The United Nations Environment Programme has convened UNEA-7 from 8 to 12 December 2025 in Nairobi, Kenya, under the theme
Our mission – to tell the stories of Earth’s people, places, and ecosystems, preserving their legacy and inspiring positive climate action.
We are a global climate storytelling initiative created by Creation Flick dedicated to amplifying voices from communities living at the frontlines of the climate crisis. From melting glaciers to parched farmlands, from rising seas to disappearing forests, the people experiencing these realities hold knowledge, resilience, and humanity that the world urgently needs to witness.
Our work sits at the intersection of media, science, policy, indigenous knowledge, and human stories. We do more than report facts; we bridge the gap between raw data and lived experience. Through storytelling, we translate the abstract language of climate change into deeply human narratives that move hearts, inspire action, and foster understanding across generations and borders.
We do this because stories have the power to move the world.
They illuminate the lived realities behind the climate crisis, make science human, and inspire action that policies alone cannot achieve.
To tell the stories of Earth’s people, places, and ecosystems, preserving their legacy and inspiring positive climate action.
A world where every community’s voice shapes the story of Earth and drives meaningful climate action.
Human-centered stories from communities living through climate impacts.
Stories that center equity, accountability, and structural barriers.
Evidence-based stories about climate solutions.
Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) as a tool for global healing.
Where science meets storytelling.
Because young people will inherit the planet we shape today.
WeAreTELL’s mission and work are deeply aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals by using strategic storytelling to advance equitable climate solutions, elevate marginalized voices, and build informed public engagement. Through multimedia narratives that illuminate water security challenges, community led adaptation, and climate resilience, WeAreTELL contributes to clean water and sanitation, sustainable cities, and climate action.
