We are seeking a highly organized, professional, and people-oriented individual to serve as a Volunteer Communications Officer. This role is ideal for someone passionate about storytelling, climate action, and strategic communication, and who is eager to contribute to a growing impact-driven platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement communication strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Manage and grow our social media presence across key platforms
- Create, edit, and publish engaging content including articles, captions, newsletters, and campaigns
- Support media relations, partnerships, and outreach efforts
- Coordinate communication for campaigns, events, and storytelling projects
- Ensure consistency in brand voice, messaging, and visual identity
- Monitor engagement metrics and suggest improvements
- Background or strong interest in communications, journalism, media, or related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Familiarity with social media management and digital tools
- Creative thinker with attention to detail
- Passion for climate, environmental issues, and storytelling
